A six-digit NACE code is chosen when a company is formed, when a business registers with the tax office and when its activity changes. The search below takes the NACE Rev.2.1 six-digit 2026 national classification directly from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and refreshes it weekly.

Choosing the right code
- The code follows the activity the business actually carries out and earns most of its income from. With several activities there is one main activity; the others are reported as secondary.
- Start by typing what you sell or which service you provide (e.g. "software", "hairdresser", "construction"). Then check the class line to choose the right subclass.
- The code affects the workplace hazard class at SGK, some permits and licences and eligibility for incentives: NACE code, tax and SGK.
- The hazard class is not part of this list. It appears next to the code in the Communiqué on Workplace Hazard Classes for Occupational Health and Safety.
Note: some public bodies may keep using the older NACE Rev.2 codes during the transition. If the tax office or trade registry shows a different code, the list on that authority's screen prevails.
